God, you creator of all life, / We know that one day the strong will join the weak, / a light will shine on the dark squares, / the curtains will be open. / / We ask You: / Let us see those who are still in the dark, / infect us with your fire of love, / that our warmth also warms others. / / Let us see what you have created, / the moon and the stars that tell us about your light, / the seasons that remind us of our limited lifetime, / and the people you entrust to us. / / We ask You: inflame your light in us – / the light of your kindness and goodness.
